Chairman

JOLEEN SPENCER-OLADEINDE, BS, MBA
Joleen is the General Secretary of the New Choice Intervention Inc. board of directors. She is a marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience in strategic marketing, group facilitation and training. Since May 2009, she has worked as a senior marketing and training consultant in the global marketplace.

Before joining the consulting ranks, Joleen served as Senior Vice President Marketing for ShoreBank, the nation’s leading community development and environmental bank. In this role, she had management responsibility for corporate brand activities, marketing research, public and media relations, advertising, internal communication and online marketing.

Internationally, Joleen has worked with microfinance institutions in Palestine and Papua New Guinea and has developed marketing training for bankers in Iraq.
In the U.S., she has worked with companies and nonprofit organizations to create marketing and communication strategies, as well as diversity and inclusion strategies. Joleen is a trained meeting facilitator with Synectics® certification for creative problem-solving and ideation. She has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Iowa State University, and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University.

Secretary

ADEOLU AJIBOYE, BS, MSC, MCISA
Mr Ajiboye is the General Secretary of the New Choice Intervention Inc. board of directors. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Science in 1989 at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also earned his Master of Science in Information Systems Management in 2001 at Loyola University Chicago. He currently works as the Manager of CQI/MIS Department at Bobby E Wright Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center in Chicago. He has an extensive experience in the area of Compliance, Quality Improvement and System Applications Development.

Treasurer

OMOTUNDE ADENIJI, LPN
Omotunde Adeniji is the Treasurer of the New Choice intervention Inc. board of directors. She is a professional nurse with several years of experience in hospice care. She has worked in many corporate organizations including Motorola Company as a data specialist. She is an ordained Church minister and the Chairperson of C&S Women Conference, Chicago District. She is the President of Angel Tree Ministry, Good Women Ministry, etc. Omotunde has the passion to work with, and meet the needs of the indigent and the helpless. She is married with children and grandchildren.

AYONIYI ALI, B.Ed (Hons.)
Ayoniyi Ali is a professional and certified teacher ; an alumni member of the Obafemi Awolowo University , Nigeria . She has twenty-one years of classroom teaching experience, with specialty in fine arts and special education. She has worked in different school setting with Chicago Public schools and Nigeria Air Force Secondary School, Lagos Nigeria. As a result of her passion to care for the elderly, Ayoniyi received training as a hospice nursing assistant and has worked passionately with several individuals during their end of life season in the last five years. She is a devout Christian and ordained church worker. She is married with children.

Rosetta Richardson, MSW
Rosetta Richardson is currently the Social Service Director at Healthcare Inc.

She attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois for her bachelor degree, and graduated from Governor State University in University Park, Illinois with a Master Degree in Social Work.

Rosetta has over 15 years experience as a Mental Health Professional. She had worked as a Counselor with at risk children, victims of domestic violence; and sexual assault. She has also worked with Department of Human Services as a Case Manager.

Bonnie Rateree, CMG
Ms. Bonnie was born and raised in the City of Harvey. She studied at South Suburban College, Michigan State University, Governors State University and DePaul University. As a life-long learner and committed Christian, she has been volunteering in Harvey community since the age of eight years. During the 60’s and 70’s Bonnie began to advocate for the rights of women, children and minorities; and she has been a member of many local and national boards fighting for equality in education, housing, human rights and economic justice.

In the 70’s Bonnie served as the Director of the Mothers-in-Prison Project at Cook County Jail and Dwight Prison for Women. She helped mothers to regain or retain their parental rights and made arrangements for the care of their children. She worked in collaboration with the Departments of Corrections, Public Aid, Juvenile Court and DCFS. She was invited and spoke at the White House Conference on Families and the Illinois legislature changing laws and policies in the interest of the poor and minority families. Ms. Bonnie’s work as a social worker, entrepreneur, paralegal and advocate through the years led her to seek political power to further serve the people of South Suburban Communities.

In 1974 She managed her own campaign for school board and became an elected official while in her twenties. She organized the first black mayor’s campaign in 1983 and she was appointed the Assistant to the Mayor of city of Harvey. In 1984 she ran as a Harold Washington “Favorite Son” delegate to the Democratic National Convention with Jesse Jackson as the candidate for President of the United States.

Ms. Bonnie was elected Thornton Township Collector in 1993 and also served the Township as the anti-gang coordinator bringing together a collaborative of agencies to assist children to stay out of trouble.

She served as a Village Trustee for the Village of Dixmoor and also contested for Mayor losing the election by 11 votes only.

She organized meetings of local elected officials that meet quarterly to plan and implement programs that will bring economic development to the City of Harvey and its environment.

Ms. Bonnie has always been an avid gardener and has taught children and adults to plant vegetables and flower gardens for over 30 years. Since the election of President Obama, she has become a Certified Master Gardener with the University of Illinois Extension and has trained gardeners, and also planted gardens in Harvey, Dixmoor and Riverdale, Illinois.

Apostle Carolyn Walker 2022

Carolyn R. Walker: A Beacon of Faith, Healing, and Service
In the vast landscape of spiritual leaders, Carolyn R. Walker shines brightly as a beacon of faith, healing,
and service. A native of Bellwood, Illinois, and a proud mother to her daughter Ayonda, also known as
Nikki, Carolyn’s journey is a testament to her unwavering faith, her dedication to service, and her
commitment to making a difference in the world.
Carolyn’s professional journey began in the field of nursing, specializing in Behavioral Health and
Substance Abuse. For 46 years, she served as a Registered Nurse, providing care and support to those in
need. Her commitment to service extended beyond her nursing career when she founded the Alabaster
Box Sober Living Home for Women, providing a safe and supportive environment for women on their
journey to recovery.
In 1993, Carolyn was licensed as a Minister and was ordained as an Elder in 1996 by the late Theodore V.
Wilkinson. Her spiritual journey took her beyond the borders of Illinois, answering a call to the nations.
Carolyn traveled to Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Ghana, making disciples and ministering in the gifts of
healing and prophecy. Her preaching, as she puts it, is “not in persuasive words but in demonstration of
the power of God.”
Currently, Carolyn is serving under the tutelage of Apostles Michael and Lynette King of Worldwide
Deliverance Ministries, continuing her spiritual journey and commitment to service.
Carolyn’s dedication to learning and understanding the Word of God is evident in her academic
achievements. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Divinity Christian Leadership University, a
Master’s of Divinity from the Kingdom of Heaven University, and an Honorary Doctorate in Human
Services. Her academic pursuits reflect the biblical verse, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a
workman needs not be ashamed rightly dividing the Word of Truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).
Carolyn R. Walker’s life is a beautiful tapestry of faith, service, and dedication. Her journey serves as an
inspiration to many, reminding us all that with faith, commitment, and a heart for service, we can make
a significant difference in the world.

Latrice Wood, MSHSA, BS, SC
Latrice is an Early Intervention Coordinator and has been working in the field of Early
Childhood since the 1990s. She did her undergraduate studies at Olive Harvey College,
located in Chicago, Illinois, where she majored in Child Development, and at Southern
Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in
Early Childhood & Child and Family. Latrice then pursued graduate studies at Spertus
College in Chicago, Illinois, where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Human
Administration. She also completed her AS & BS in Seminary at FAM Institute Bible
College & Seminary, located in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
 
Latrice has worked with eleven shelters providing services to women and children in
need. She has worked as an Assistant Manager and Social worker servicing victims of
domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and at-risk children. She has operated many
Before-and-After school and daycare programs throughout the city of Chicago, Illinois.
Some of her other work included working with DCFS assisting teen parents and abused
children. Latrice also served as a Developmental Therapist working with children 0-3
years of age.
 
In 1999 she was awarded the Social Worker Award and in 2018 she was awarded the
Early Intervention Award of Illinois.

President

TUNDE ALI, PH.D, ACSW, QIDP, DT.
Dr. Tunde Ali is the President/CEO of New Choice Intervention, Inc. He is a member of the United States, Academy of Certified Social workers; he is a Qualified Intellectual Development Professional, and a Certified Developmental Therapist.

He is an alumni member of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, Governors State University, Illinois, and Louisiana Baptist University, Louisiana – USA. He has extensive psychotherapy, crisis interventions and business management experience. He has worked as a therapist at Bobby E. Wright Comprehensive Behavior Health Center and Life First Behavior Health Center in Chicago. He has also worked as crisis counselor at Loretto Hospital Chicago, Our Lady of Resurrection Hospital, Chicago and West Suburban Hospital, Oak Park – Illinois.

He is the President of Peralt Communications Inc. – a PR & Marketing company, He is the president of Citizens for good Government & Accountability – an anti-corruption and good governance advocate organization; and a principal partner in Garland Gas and Oil Limited. His hobby includes: helping and empowering people. He enjoys reading and writing, he has written many published articles (features and scholars) on national and international socio-economic and political matters.

Dr. Tunde Ali is an ordained and Licensed Minister in the State of Illinois; he is married and blessed with children.

Vice President

GLORIA FOSTER, MSW, CADC,
Gloria Foster is the Vice President of New Choices Intervention Inc. She is member Of the National Black Business Women of Chicago; she is a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor.

She did her under-grad studies at National Lewis University, Chicago Illinois, and her grad studies at Governor’s State University in Illinois. She has an array of degrees in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Human Service, Mental Health, Behavior Management, and Social Work. She has worked with children at risk; mental illness; developmentally disable; geriatric; addiction population for over twenty five years. Hobbies and other interest, Learning and empowering herself; Reading; Resting; Helping others to help themselves
